Ah, that sucks.
Andy is just now standing up to him.

He was a phenomenal actor. And one of my absolute favorite parts of Twin Peaks.

Yeah, he just can't fathom the sincereness Cooper has for the people in that town. He's like the opposite of Cooper in almost every way.

While I really hate the taste of coffee, Cooper makes me wish even more that I liked it.

And it makes for riveting television.

Man, I love coffee! But I wish I loved it as much as Cooper.

Rosenfield really stood out upon my second and third viewing of Twin Peaks, after I really knew and understood that town and its characters. I was sort of surprised to see that he was in the mix from the beginning the second time I watched the series, actually.

I'm getting a kick seeing these people show up that were also on Seinfeld.

To this day, Bob is the scariest thing I've seen.

I saw Fire Walk With Me before I ever saw an episode of Twin Peaks. And it's 10 times scarier without any context. Bob scared the shit out of me. To this day, I have a hard time going into my bedroom without a light on because of Bob. If I have any demons, if there is a hell, if I lose my mind one day, I firmly believe Bob will be there. Truly terrifying. On a subconscious level. It's like he's always existed. He IS the boogey man.

When you're ready to dig into the filming/making of stuff, let me know. There's a really great story about "the origin of Bob." And it makes me love David Lynch even more than I already do.

Doesn't exactly belong in this thread but what the hell. We've still got months to go before a new episode of Twin Peaks (!)
The On The Air pilot is on YouTube along with the other six episodes. Did anyone ever get into this short-lived Lynch/Frost production? The first half of this episode was kind of a drag, but you can see the show's potential when it all comes together. Even more absurd than 2nd half S2 Twin Peaks. Great performance by Buchanan and Ferrer (RIP). Badalamenti score is unmistakable.
