I streamed the thing last week and decided it would hold up to repeat listens. I was kind of surprised there were still copies.

Folks, Bull Black Nova is just a beast of a song live. Definitely one of the lone bright spots on an otherwise forgettable an album.

There is some very cool insight from Tweedy on each song in the liner notes. Its a really nice package with some real gems. And oh yeah, the vinyl sounds great...

it was an improvement over those two, but i wouldn't say it was a return to the heights of being there/summerteeth/YHF/AGIB. i don't think anyone would say that.

It was fine.

I also wasn't thrilled about Tweedy's recent solo effort.

They are playing at Red Rocks this summer which I would historically be all over. This time not so much. I dont know why.

If this band released a new album after collaborating with Jim O'Rourke, I'd be a very happy fan again. But alas, it won't happen.

well, i'm starting to enjoy some U2 songs, so i think i'm now disqualified from making any judgments from the vantage point of a music snob.

lol

I've never been able to get into Wilco. I have their self-titled album and it was ok. Everyone seems to love them, but it's never really clicked for me.
