We've done one before, but we should definitely do another. I don't know that we have enough fans still around here, though.

Thanks, I'm gonna try never to do that again. I'll still watch Hip concerts, just not drunk. I was a soggy mess.

These guys were my favourites. Saw 17 shows from 1996 until the last tour. Still tough to imagine we will never see another Hip show.
What makes it tougher to swallow was how good the last record was. I was usually able to pull something out of every release of theirs, but I thought this was their best effort since Phantom Power. I think it proved they still had something in the tank creatively.

I've been listening to the Hip a lot lately and felt like doing a Top 10 list.

Little Bones
Scared
It’s a Good Life if You Don’t Weaken
Ahead By a Century
Save the Planet
Fifty-Mission Cap
The Darkest One
Thompson Girl
Let’s Stay Engaged
So Hard Done By

I don’t trust a list that doesn’t have Three Pistols on it.

Boot or Hearts
Wheat Kings
Gift Shop - the most beautiful take on accepting life
Flamenco
Three Pistols
Grace, Too - rivals hearing Release as an opener
New Orleans Is Sinking
Ahead By A Century
50 Mission Cap
Locked In The Trunk of a Car

I don't mind Three Pistols, but it's never really done it for me.

Gift Shop could easily make my list on another day.

Grace, Too is possibly their greatest song, I'm just a little burnt out on it. Yet I somehow never tire of Ahead By a Century.

I want to live again!

if I exclude the big 4 of Little Bones, Blow at High Dough, Locked and New Orleans, my top 10 played list looks something like this

Family Band
Courage
Boots Or Hearts
In a World Possessed By the Human Mind
Nautical Disaster
Three Pistols
38 Years Old
Long Time Running
Grace, Too
Scared

Scared
Locked in the trunk of a car
Sherpa
Thompson girl
Vapour trails
The Bastard
Use it up
One night in Copenhagen
Morning moon
Here in the dark / Ocean next

So would all the Canadian RMers but I doubt we'd get any other participants.

I can run one if you guys want. I got poll powers.
