I was talking about the whole "Jerkoff," "Stinkfist," "Prison Sex," "Hooker With a Penis," wrench logo designed to look like a cock and balls, naked contortionists swinging from the ceiling, etc. juvenile teen boy shtick that poisons this group's otherwise redeeming qualities. It's the same thing that ruins Nine Inch Nails for me.

Clearly I don't know what to call it, but it's really not my thing.

I'd live to get this on vinyl. I have a friend who owns a copy, but he buys LPs to collect, and never play, so it's still in the plastic. It kills me knowing this, and that the LP may never be played and enjoyed.

I have a pic with my copy back on Page 5 or 6. It's sounds pretty damn good on vinyl!

Very cool.

Guy wanted 40, I asked 30. Got it. I just am not a fan of picture discs though. This might bother me.

The sound is decent at best. It's the noisiest vinyl in my collection and that includes several old grubby records. Neat piece to have but it's definitely not good sounding.

Well, I'll probably be selling it. I don't buy for looks. What the fuck Tool? Time for reissues that sound good. And any issue of 10,000 Days.

10,000 Days won't come out on vinyl till around the time they issue their new album I'm picking - that's what happened with the Lateralus vinyl - came out after 10,000 days. On a side note - picked up the vinyl of Undertow - this is pretty fucking cool. Despite my bagging it earlier in this thread. Guess I'd never given it a decent listen till now.

I saw tool a few months back in Melbourne and finally had the "Tool fans are shit" revelation. The band were awesome but I fucking hated the show because there were so many cunts there.
