Awesome - thanksdimejinky99 wrote:I know nothing about the marvel / xmen cinematic universe other than having seen them and knowing who Logan is and professor x. That's all you need for this. There's nothing at all in there that will leave you confused by that canon.
And it's full tilt R and really earns it.

40+ mins... its hilarious, and a tad sad knowing youre not going to get Hugh, Patrick, and Ian all together much, if ever again since Hugh and Patrick said this is probably the last time.dimejinky99 wrote:
I still think if Singer comes to them with one last idea/movie for the original cast theyd all jump at it.

Reportedly, Jackman has said if Marvel ever gets the rights back to the X-stuff, he would play Wolverine in as many movies as they would want him to.

Singer is devoid of ideas though so that's not going to happen.MadTIGERmaN wrote:40+ mins... its hilarious, and a tad sad knowing youre not going to get Hugh, Patrick, and Ian all together much, if ever again since Hugh and Patrick said this is probably the last time.dimejinky99 wrote:

Just saw it.
Well, its pretty emotional for sure. And i liked what they did with the Old Man Logan storyline..Jackman is amazing in this..so is Stewart and the kid...Still i wish it was more cinematic...there is barely a classic sequence, a good shot, a breathtaking frame.
I was kinda letdown by that.

That really hit me, I can see why Hugh and Patrick both say theyre done while Patrick isn't as firm as Hugh is) but that final shot really was a great final breathtaking frame for their X-careers
There was no post credit scene BTW, but there was a pre-movie scene Deadpool that was hilarious, and I'm glad it wasn't AFTER the movie. The movie ends on such a down note, putting that in the post credits wouldn't feel right, and I know the director does not like the post credit scenes.

I feel pretty confident that we'll see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again after Logan.bada wrote:I feel pretty confident that Hugh isn't quitting Wolverine for artistic reasons. Staying in that kind of shape is too much effort at this point on his life. He's been bitching about it for years.
