Presale here this morning. Seems to have all sold out.
Tickets already on seatwave for €350 a pair.
How are Ticketmaster allowed get away with this?

The US has introduced a bill to ban bots from buying up tickets and there's talk about a similar regulation being enforced in the EU.
But this will only address part of the problem, because very often the venues themselves are balls deep in this dirty game. The venues skim tickets off the top and sell them directly to Viagogo, Getmein, etc for inflated prices, so that they can be sold on at an even greater mark-up.
Pretty disgusting stuff.

These ticket prices are ridiculous. I'm paying because I haven't seen him solo before, but that's one hell of a bummer.

only way to stop it is if enough people boycott and stop giving these companies/venues/artists our dough.
but we all favor our entertainment over principle*

So that was weird - I ended up getting 1 individual ticket.
Then a nabbed another single one.
Then later I got two together.
If it looks sold out - it ain't - keep trying for at least the next 30 mins.
Also - I now have two single face value tickets to sell. Any takers?

Ticketmaster appeared to sell out pretty much right away but I went to the Hammersmith Apollo site and picked up four together in the circle seating area for £69 each - expensive, but not the arse-wrenching cost I was anticipating. If anyone's still searching for tix go to the Apollo site.

After hearing that, I'd be kind of into the idea of Ed taking a Harry Nilsson approach to a kid-friendly album. Lots of harmonies and fun instrumentation.
I think it's the "Better Days" song from the Eat Pray Love soundtrack. The layered vocals part sounds different than the released version though.. not sure if that's a different take, or just isolated vocals or something

He has to be announcing a release soon, right? This cannot be another Uke Songs tour.

He's playing Ohana again. That was such a good trip last year, easily one of my favorites. The temptation to go back would be strong, especially if he doesn't tour the States.
