You're a fucking monster.
Why would album art be important in a music device? My beloved iPod classic lost all sense of reality some time ago and I couldn't give less of a fuck

I'm pretty fastidious about album artwork in my digital collection, it would drive me crazy if there were covers missing, incorrect, etc.

Mine are (nearly) complete on my iTunes, they're just scrambled on the iPod. But why care about what's on a device screen? Are you really looking at it all that much?

I don't think it's necessary but it's definitely nice to see when you scroll through the player.

I use Ecoute on my iPhone and the interface is pretty artwork dependent:

I don't know. I bought it while I was on vacation and kind of shrugged it off. I'm tinkering with it nownmore that I'm back.

I think I just need to learn it more. I bought the 3.99 version.

Not sure what I'd do without album art on my phone. Most of the time I choose what I want to listen by scrolling through covers until something catches my eye.

I like Shuttle Music Player on Android. Not super fancy but it gets the job done and never crashes.

What kind of headphones do you guys use?

I want a pair of Bluetooth/noise cancelling/over the ear.

Or sell me on BT/NC/ buds.

I have $100 Best Buy gift card and just raked $500 on a side job.

I'm not a fan of noise canceling so I can't really help you there.

I use these earbuds: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EZYMF4/

And these headphones: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042A8CW2

I love the look of those headphones. I've been looking at Sennheisers for a while now. I'm sick of the "cord". And I need to be able to lay in bed with cans on and my wife not be able to hear my music bleeding out.

I have a pair of AKG K240 mkII now.

Why don't you like noise cancelling? The only reason I'm worried about the over the ear is the "sufffocation" feeling you get after a few songs. I have a hard time sitting through even an album at a time which is no good.

Those on ear look like they "breathe" very well. And are significantly cheaper than the ones I've been looking at.

Sennheiser made a closed-back version of the HD 598. Haven't tried it yet though: https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-59 ... ser+HD+598

I'm trying to find a cheap mp3 player that I can use on the kayak

One that's decent but no biggie if I lose it on the bottom of the lake
