I'd have to assume so. Losing a best friend and mentor has got to be crushing. I'm sure they are at a total loss right now.

Yeah, I can't imagine what they're going through.

My mind keeps coming back to the notion that he was just touring with TOTD to honor Andy Wood. You'd think something that powerful would help exercise any demons he may have had. Not that this couldn't have just evolved since then either. Its just so bizarre.

I've been in shock all day. Can't even believe it. Listening to Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog all day, got me real fucked up over it.

Chris Cornell was the all time great. Pearl Jam's brother. We all loved him. Fuck.

I still feel numb.

Chris really hanged himself right fucking after the concert? I guess we now know the answer, it just doesn't feel right, or even real. Still trying to grasp the idea that this is how he wanted it to end.

Seemed in good spirits before and during, but something had to be haunting him just below the surface. Life is cold and makes no damn sense sometimes.

Heartfelt prayers to his family. Confused. I am concerned for his soul, so much beauty in his works so much light, darkness and pain , so blatant in front of us to see. Why his words felt prophetic and genuine , he made the choice subconsciously? Long ago.
Dark forces are growing all around. Maybe we should not be trying to...how do those part ice accelerator clowns put it.
.....trying.
To break the Vail. , Maybe way more to,th album art that ill ever know. Occult symbolism is dangerous stuff 4th p be messing with. The price of success? Woulnt be the first time in music entertainment or holly wood. Even the name is dark. No more darkness please.

I feel sadder because of the how. Now where is chris and his eternal soul...
where did his energy go. Why . God .
Too much speculation
n questions that only God knows.

Man is not to do as he pleases, not how this works. I worry the effect on his family.

The public entertainer Cornell huge part of my formative years. Meaning many of hi s emotions of those works i,shared at one point.

A prayer would dam to be in order.
Confused shocked.

Of course we have no idea what was in his head, but it doesn't make any sense. He's going to kill himself right in the middle of a tour? Right after a show? It's SO bad that he thinks that little of his fans, let alone his family, his bandmates and crew? "Fuck it, I'm out. You guys deal with this." Just doesn't add up.

That tends to be how suicidal thoughts work, yes.

That's not how clinical depression works; nothing about it is rational. This is extraordinarily sad; I feel for his family, bandmates and also for the folks in PJ who have backed him up throughout the years.

It doesn't make much sense to me either, though suicide by its nature is often sudden and begging for explanation that will never be forthcoming.

It's difficult to process, I just want to wait until there's more information. I can't imagine how difficult this is for his family.

I guess what I was saying is (not very well apparently) I'm not sure I buy the suicide. Then again, maybe I'm just one of those crazy conspiracy theorists, as I don't believe Kurt committed suicide either.

Other than someone posting outright mockery, i wish everyone would let people post what they want without ragging on them, death of any kind is horrid and very difficult to handle for most of us. Please try for compassion when you can't muster up decency towards people. And this is me saying this of all people, me... kthx

Compassion doesn't extend to indulging patently ridiculous conspiracy theories that deflect from the tragic truth of someone's death.
