I doubt that very much. Ryan Coogler made it.

it is the most visually striking marvel movie to date, with the best world building

No Marvel movie besides GOTG2 has been visually interesting at all. The trailers for this look hideous, and virtually indistinguishable from Avengers 12 or whatever.

the same shots look and feel different in the film. it doesnt really look like the trailers - at least in imax (not 3d)

I could see that - all they really need to do is fix the black levels (no pun intended).

fairly conventional third act (but i like marvels third acts so thats fine with me). and it doesnt let the movie down like the end of wonder woman

t’challa’s general (the bald one) kinda steals the movie

Because it's less of a "big superhero movie" and more or a political/action thriller (think mission:impossible) whose characters happen to be non-magical superheros. That's what interesting to me about Black Panther (have not seen it yet), the hope that it takes on bigger ideas and has powerful people explore them vs. just a 2 hour special effects real like CA:Civil War or those shit-show Avengers movies.

Well the movie is boring.
Black Panther is the least interesting character from a very unidimensional group of characters. The action sequences are awful, the acting is embarrassing and it looks so awful. What happened to the lightning? Why is everything so fucking white? In the first challenge it was even blurry...the digital backgrounds are more dated than the SW prequels now.
The only cool thing was the bad guy.
