Supposedly Apple has changed the lyrics to be dicks and fix and FIRE things.

I can confirm that it has changed now.

Fire makes more sense than file.

I can't believe how well put together it all is. The production, mixing, decisions..... It makes You Are seem half baked.

This really is a fantastic track! I like what someone said much earlier in the thread about how the song loosens up as it goes, from the drums to the vocals.

I could do without the line by line lyrical breakdown but it was nice seeing two people seem genuinely excited by the song

thanks :). have you been working on it since 10 o’clock last night?
I lost interest last night mainly because I had read 43k other opinions on the song yesterday and was opinion’d out. Read it this morning with my coffee. Got hung up on some of the bigger words but used a dictionary to power through.

Totally. Like if you get that initial, maybe natural reaction to shit on it, then just let the song play it opens up. By the end of it, I want MORE! The whole song is good, but the outtro is really nice.

I feel like, especially with the outro, this could go either way. If they, in particular Ed, keep it tight it could be awesome, but on the flipside there's definitely room for this to be a trainwreck

How much do we trust Apple Music lyrics? Guess we can wait for the booklet.

For what it’s worth, it sounds like Ed uses “ignore” on the first chorus and “endure” on the second to me.

I'm sorry if I missed the section of this thread where we talk about the TSIS review. Stip, some of your Pearl Jam opinions baffle me but damn't son, you nailed it! Just like you always do. Almost every word describes my feelings and likely many other RM posters, in a way that I can't express as clearly. Thank you.
