I think we’ve had a delayed flight and missed a connection a few times, but that’s not very interesting as it’s the airline’s fault and they sort it out. Only bad one was my first trip to Australia years ago, the flight out of Chicago was delayed so I missed my connecting flight from LA to Melbourne, which meant I had to chill in LA for 24 hours since there’s only one flight a day on that route. Comped hotel and meals, but no wheels so I just hung around the hotel and watched TV.
My wife has some crazy ones related to work travel. I remember once she booked a ticket while in the security line just so she could get through to the terminal and sort some other flight out. Some details missing there, but thought it was next level stuff.

It was before smart phones, so I just had a basic flip phone tucked away in my bag for emergencies. But I was on a layover in an airport where I had no idea I was in Mountain Time Zone (I thought it was Pacific), so I missed my connection by an hour while just casually drinking a beer at the bar a few gates away.

The time I came closest to missing a flight was when I misread a ticket that said "18:00" thinking it meant 8:00 pm
Figured it out just in time though

I don't think I have ever missed one..plenty of cancelled ones but rebooked right away

It's not hard at all, but I was young and not accustomed to it.
Argentina uses 24 hour time as the standard. I like it

Two but both due to delayed flights to connection. With the last one the ticket counter assh*le tried to deny me getting on a rebooked flight. Long story don’t want to revisit.
