Matt and Abe are both great drummers in 2026, unsure what you're going for here.

All I mean is that I'm onboard with Abe and I think he's a better fit than some of the other names proposed.

If they roll out with Josh Freese behind the kind at Ohana, yes, that would be a bit deflating.

Josh is also a great drummer, for what it's worth.

Joking aside, yeah I'd be disappointed if it's any Josh (Freese or Klinghoffer) .. also still not being able to see Abe fitting in all PJ songs..

Well I think I'm just stuck in the past thinking they will find a new/young 98 Matt Cameron to fuel then again.. maybe a 2026 Abe is what they need actually

i would be happy if it’s Abe. Looks to have touring stamina where a high performance level is required.

My prediction is Abe will be playing with Eddie and Friends and it will be someone other than him with Pearl Jam.

The 90s drum sound in general has not aged well: Super deep kick with a super high pitched snare. Shit sounds corny retrospect.
