Tell me about this. Cut up fan arrangement? I like some of the choices.
Is just an edit I did. Now it has some noisey atmosphere to compensate the sterile production.

Anyone else remember the Bridge live stream for this?
Also, the record is about to turn 20! years old.

I think they used it as an opener sometime. No an opener i would prefer, but still im such a huge fan of the song.

One time only. Wish they'd do more like this, but I don't think it would work after 2000.

I agree. The guitar is minimal in it but somehow i still love it year after year, which is shocking to me.

speaking of guitar sound

i love the guitar sound of sleight of hand, its so thick and heavy, they should've been record the entire album with that guitar sound

Yep. Plus, all of the other songs that came out of this recording period. Amazing stuff.

It took me nearly 20 years to love this song, but it has recently became an absolute favorite of mine. Light Years has probably risen in esteem more than any PJ song for me over the years. Binaural is truly a masterpiece. I know I’ve been praising Gigaton constantly since it was released, and I do love Gigaton, but Binaural is just so incredibly special. 20 years later it is still revealing itself to me, and I am just mesmerized by its depth and beauty.

yeah, i feel you.

I remember the first time i listened to it. I bought it in the afternoon, left it on my house and went to my swimming lessons. Came back at night and listened to it. I remember feeling somehow disappointed, there wasnt any quick grab like Yield had.

I loved Breakerfall, Rival, and Sleight of Hand early on but Binaural was no where near my favorite album for many years. I actively didn’t enjoy a significant portion of it. But this beauty has been blooming for 20 years, and I now see it for the amazing piece of art that it is.

I’m not saying it took 20 years for me to love Binaural, after all it has been my favorite album for years. But it did take quite some time for me to really appreciate it for what it is. And I really do think it is unique and remarkable in its ability to still be fresh and interesting all these years later.
