This. I like Numbers' group, but as I said before, PryTo has 7 songs from records that at some point or other were in my personal top ten. And two of the three that aren't are from bands who had other albums in my personal top ten at some point.PryTo wrote:Rangi

kp
numbers
Rangi has a phenomenal team. But kp has the best team in this thing, I think. Had I advanced, I would have voted for kp over myself.
numbers v pryto is neck and neck. It could go either way and both teams deserve to advance. I wish they both could. Numbers gets the call here only because Where is my Mind? is the tie-breaker and it happens to be one of my all time favorite songs by any artist. Going into this tournament it was one of only two songs that I "had to have" on my team, and the bastard stole it from me.
Good game, all.

That song was numbers' 2nd pick and the snake gave you two picks before that

I almost took it at one but I didn't think synchronicity II would come back to me.

I got blinded by Waits. I know I could have taken Time later. But it seemed stupid not to grab it. It was a mistake. Dove's Cry should have been 1 & Where is my Mind 2.
Live & learn I suppose.

Ain't talkin bout love just came on classic rewind.. what an awesome tune.. might have picked it had I thought of it (or was it late 70s)
Also reminds me of the fuck shop.. which sampled it.. woulda been nice to add some 2 live to the tourn

Unchained was on my very very short list. Last minute bump. Easily one of the great riffs of all time, even if you narrow that to just EVH.i got bugs wrote:Ain't talkin bout love just came on classic rewind.. what an awesome tune.. might have picked it had I thought of it (or was it late 70s)

Baring new players only 3 people are drafting him. I can safely find 3 ridiculous TW songs per decadedurdencommatyler wrote:I got blinded by Waits. I know I could have taken Time later. But it seemed stupid not to grab it. It was a mistake. Dove's Cry should have been 1 & Where is my Mind 2.

Lesson learned. I thought he'd blow up in the 80's tourney, given his 80's output. I won't make the same mistake in the 90's tournament. Even with 32 players, I'll be able to get one.
