Binaural is by far and away their best album.

Pearl Jam are still a Fucking blast to see live.

Binaural blasted way up the rankings for me when I went through all the albums in a row, but wouldn’t say it’s their best, which I have to give to Vitalogy. Binaural is now right behind that for me now.

Vitalogy has been my #1 for a long time. But Riot Act might have surpassed it. RA is the one I reach for most.

I always associate Riot Act with the wintertime. Might have to revisit it this week.

They are, no doubt. The shows are just a bit long.

Man, I just can't imagine being at a Pearl Jam show that I thought was too long.

Yeah that’s never happened to me either, including Philly 4 ‘09 and Mansfield 3 ‘03. In fact, I am always wishing the shows were longer.

If Mirror Ball had been properly credited to Neil Young & Pearl Jam, it’d be a top-3 PJ album for me with Vitalogy and Binaural. Yield and Riot Act are up there too.

Aye Davinita and Arc are better than a lot of the great “proper” songs in the catalog.

Pushing 4 hours is a bit much, but it’s impressive that they can do it. The last show I was at ended about 10 minutes before the last train ran for the night. I made it out but a lot of people were stranded. Good times.

Easy to shit on them because of how the last decade has seen them slow down considerably, no doubt. A 'shitty' PJ show is still going to blow away 95 percent of what you see, even great acts.

A friend of mine went to see Cardi B in 2018, she played for 40 minutes and mostly did the first 30 seconds of 25 different songs. $100 for that shit

Saw QotSA (my second favorite band) a while ago and Josh was so wasted they played 14 of the 21 songs on the setlist.

Saw Metallica in 2017, then in 2018 - set was 90 percent the same and cost $150 to sit upstairs
