Yeah dude you have to look at the whole team. Tua would be kicking ass with the Bills right now.

Then again it seemed to be ok a year ago with a good bit of the same roster

Yeah exactly that's the problem and I don't think Watson is the answer. Starts at the top.

I didn't watch yesterday but as much as I want to I haven't seen anything that makes me think Tua will be elite. Tannehill gave me a lot more hope than Tua has so far. I still want him to finish the season and I don't love the idea of trading more assets for a guy with a very uncertain future, but idk man nothing about this is going well right now.
Does Flores lose his job if Miami doesn't win another game? Not saying I think that happens but I wonder where that cutoff will be for him.

Analysts say even now Tua is as good as it gets at the RPO game. If only they could get a decent run game going and successfully build around his strengths, the offense with Tua could be great. It all depends on what the team wants to do, but I'm willing to bet good money Tua will be a really good successful QB for many years to come, but probably on another team.

I think he could be a solid QB. I haven't seen superstar elements from him. Tannehill used to be frustratingly tantalizing. He'd make some incredible throws that I felt like very few guys could make, I'm not sure Tua has ever done that. But I agree that if Miami gives up on him too early they could end up regretting it.

The playcalling is atrocious and this team hasn't given Tua a chance to succeed for whatever that's worth.

Tua and Tannehill are very different QBs. Tua is better at quick reads, quick, accurate releases, and very good feet in the pocket. Tannehill was like a statue back there but when he had time to zero in on his target, could make some amazing downfield throws, usually when the run game was working and play action was effective, which is why it's working so well in Tennessee with Henry (we'll see how he does now that he's injured). I'm mostly impressed with what Tua has done considering all the chaos surrounding him, but I agree he hasn't shown he can be elite yet.

I feel your pain, guys. My team's QB threw a pick six yesterday to lose the game. We're all in this misery together.

I'm still rooting for him. He survived yesterday, so that's good. The schedule isn't too bad the rest of the way, I really hope that as he gets more comfortable back there that we start to see good things.

Look at his highlights from yesterday. He really wow'd me with some of those short throws. His accuracy is pretty impressive sometimes.

Yeah, I'll watch when I get a chance.
My friend, a Bills fan said Tua "looked ok, wasn't the problem. There were bad drops and bad penalties that hurt." Also said his opinion is that the OCs are killing him. Sounds about right.

Supposedly the plan earlier in the year was to get Watson and stash him. Keep starting Tua, hope he's good, and then have a valuable QB asset (either Tua or Watson) once Watson's legal issues are over. In that version of the story the Dolphins interest is in buying low on a valuable asset, not a repudiation of Tua.
All that could be nonsense just trying to have it both ways as long as Tua is actually the QB.

In other news..
Will fuller should be shot.. like not metaphorically, he should literally have to take a bullet
I know if I robbed that much money from someone I'd probably end up taking one

I’m not sure but I think your salary is drastically cut if you dont play games. But yeah what a disappointment he’s been. I imagine this isn’t great for his reputation, but I’m sure Tom Brady would still be glad to have him.
