And even if he isn't, he's certainly a faceless man. And I'm sorry but I just don't think anyone in this tournament can beat a faceless man.

I could sign on to thatdurdencommatyler wrote:Jaqen H'ghar, the greatest character in recent fantasy fiction memory.
is there hard evidence of this?durdencommatyler wrote:Syrio is probably Jaqen H'ghar, the greatest character in recent fantasy fiction memory.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:to be honest i'm not really getting the syrio obsession

Nah. Just a lot of speculation and theory.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:is there hard evidence of this?durdencommatyler wrote:Syrio is probably Jaqen H'ghar, the greatest character in recent fantasy fiction memory.lennytheweedwhacker wrote:to be honest i'm not really getting the syrio obsession

Which is why it's a bunch of bullshit. When GRRM has big reveals and twists like that he alludes to them beforehand. Syrio was who he said he was, and Syrio died.durdencommatyler wrote:Nah. I don't want it just to have it, either. But I'm not sure it isn't set up. But either way, I agree that if it's to happen it needs to serve the larger story.cutuphalfdead wrote:He's just not set up to come back without any allusion to it. I would prefer it if he stays dead, because I don't want twists that come completely out of left field just for the sake of them. If it was a twist that would serve the larger story it would be set up better.
What's next, a mobile planet that can suck all the life out of its own sun then move to a totally new solar system all suck up that sun, too?durdencommatyler wrote:I don't want it just to have it, either.
