Indeed. I wouldn't judge them on anything you saw/heard at the BDO ;)

I'm sorry, guys.

I've tried but any appreciation of their merit remains entirely elusive.

And on that disquieting note, I'll exercise some restraint and make a dignified (or as dignified as possible) retreat from this thread.

I'm no fan of the new album at all but those songs made a lot more sense in the live context.

Audio patching and artwork by ridleybradout
Remastered by JWB

A previous audio version of this show was uploaded, however it contained audio glitches
and skips between songs (as per original DVD source). I have manually patched up these
glitches and had my man JWB remaster the audio so that it now sounds as close to an
official release as possible.

Lineage:
DVD > DVD Audio Extractor > WAV > Nero WaveEditor/SoundTrax for patching
> CoolEdit for remaster > CD Wave Editor for track splitting > FLAC LEVEL 8

Source DVD Lineage:
DVB-T > Nebula DigiTV > VideoReDo > PVAStrumento demux > TMPGEnc

Video : PAL, 720 x 576, MPEG-2, 25fps, 4186kbps, Aspect Ratio : 16:9
Audio : MPEG-1 Audio Layer II, 256kbps 48Khz

No fades for disc split. Suggested disc split between Track 9 and 10.

TRACKLIST:

01 Ready To Start
02 Keep The Car Running
03 Neighborhood #2 (Laïka)
04 No Cars Go
05 Haiti
06 Modern Man
07 Rococo
08 The Suburbs
09 Intervention
10 Crown Of Love
11 Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)

I have that Arcade Fire show. It is great. I saw them with the National a couple years ago. Great show.

I can understand not liking AF but to say they are "terrible"? Not so much. Incredibly talented band. I don't like Justin Timberlake's music but the dude is very talented.

They go on here at the gorge in about an hour.

My bad on the lack of a gorge countdown thread.

Fantastic performance last night. Great crowd, lots of people dressed up. Very glad I went.

My prediction for a local cover going in was Nirvana. They did a brief bit of Teen Spirit. They also covered Hunger Strike!

Win is a huge grunge fan. I'd love to hear them do a Nirvana or Temple song. That would be rad as hell.
