The only part that's clearly "retconned" is the color of the sabers. And that isn't retconned as much as a mistake on the show's part (or a change that wasn't fully explained; either way, it's on the show).
Why did she only drop one lightsaber?
I don't understand your question. In both the book and the show she leaves both.
I just watched this for the third time. She only drops one. Left hand side. Vader picks up one.
Huh. Weird. My memory is that she leaves both. Both are visible in the snow when Vader arrives. He only takes one, though.
Nope. 4th watch. One saber when Vader arrives. She might have lost one in the fight, but she only dropped one at the graveyard.

Oh right, maybe she loses one in a fight? That sounds right actually. But whatever. Either that's the answer to your question or it isn't. If it isn't, then I don't care what the answer is.

I have never examined any part of TCW so closely. Two sabers on her hip when she pulls down the hatch in Rex's ship. Now, why would they have her only drop one?

Even if you didn't give a shit about the novel, she should have dropped two.

So Vader is hunting Ahsoka at this stage so is it after she’s killed the fifth brother the one whos saber she took ?

I think this is going to tie in to the Kenobi series possibly with her appearing
I kinda wish this will happen and have Kenobi also Hunted

Also we don’t know how much time has passed since she dropped the lightsaber And he picks it up.

The other one was snow covered and Vader was too lazy and cold to look for it

B said that's factually untrue.

Whoever decided to have Anakin fuck around with Ahsoka's crystals.

I think you guys are focused on the lightsaber, you're forgetting the most important part as it relates to canon
Spoiler: show
So I thought in the last episode it was R7 that sounded like Chopper, but that didn't make sense.

It was actually CH-33P, which Ahsoka was calling Cheep, and as a C unit astromech it makes sense that it sounds like Chopper.

We're talking about book to show retconning, Skitch. Please try and keep up.

But also, I don't reminder R7 sounding like Chopper. Are you sure that's a retcon?

You too!

I really want CH-33P's parts to be salvaged to be part of C1-1OP
