https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_McSally
Martha Elizabeth McSally (born March 22, 1966) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Arizona's 2nd congressional district since 2015. A retired military officer, she served in the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1988 to 2010 and rose to the rank of colonel. One of the highest-ranking female pilots in the history of the Air Force, McSally was the first American woman to fly in combat following the 1991 lifting of the prohibition on female combat pilots.

She flew the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II close air support aircraft over Iraq and Kuwait during Operation Southern Watch.[1] McSally was also the first female commander of a USAF fighter squadron (the 354th Fighter Squadron (354 FS), based at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base). In 2001, she successfully sued the United States Department of Defense in McSally v. Rumsfeld, challenging the military policy that required United States and United Kingdom servicewomen stationed in Saudi Arabia to wear the body-covering abaya when traveling off base in the country.
She's a republican/nazi though.

LOL.

She ran a ridiculously negative campaign that included linking Sinema to child sex trafficking.

It'll be interesting to see what McSally does next... we could very well end up with both of them in the Senate.

Kyl's only committed to serve until Jan. 3.

I suspect that her need to not become too controversial a pick for that seat is exactly why she didn’t play along with Trump’s fraudulent claims.

McSally could go after the 3rd district house seat if Ducey doesn't appoint her.

Grijalva ran unopposed in 2016, but he's not exactly popular right now. He's a windbag.

Part of me would like to see her run as an open GOP lesbian, but that's probably not gonna happen... even in Tucson.

"We've got to be worried about what's happening in the suburbs. We get wiped out in the Dallas suburbs, Houston suburbs, Chicago suburbs, Denver suburbs -- you know there's a pattern -- Detroit suburbs, Minneapolis suburbs, Orange County, California, suburbs. When we start to lose in the suburbs, it says something to us. We can't replace all of those people by simply picking up (Minnesota's First Congressional District) -- farm country and the Iron range of Minnesota -- because, frankly, there's more growth in suburban areas than there is in rural areas."

I have to think they came out in larger numbers for Sinema to carry Maricopa County.

If they didn't, I think that's actually worse news for Trump and the GOP.

Found this curious.

69/31 for the Senate race, but only 55/44 for Governor despite, well, David Garcia is Hispanic.

To be fair, Garcia was a pretty terrible candidate. But still.

You know, I did a web search on her because I'm not in AZ so I wasn't familiar with her or her positions. The #1 result was from 2012 and about the rumors of her being a lesbian. My how far we've come that just six years ago that was a bad thing and now it's (almost) accepted.
