Masters in Public Health. Those that were adamant in February 2020 that Masks were terrible, pro BLM protest in May 2020, and generally shifted with the winds a dozen times during the pandemic. Useless human beings.

Not sure if the relevant part here makes your 8 second limit, but it's no more than 14 seconds.

This was a less serious but still interesting example of the left letting their priors get in the way. It's less serious because since mass protests almost always take place outdoors, on the merits they were correct that the BLM protests were no big deal. But they should have also been more charitable to the action (without needing to endorse the message) of the anti-covid restriction protests that happened just before Floyd's death.

"Not very effective" is not equal to "terrible"

GH: Should we read into your use of the worder death as opposed to murder?

Why is it so hard for people to understand cdc guidelines are fluid and subject to change when more data is gathered?

It like if you never ate shrimp before and one day you eat it and feel fine. Then a week later you eat the same shrimp and more shrimp and find out your allergic to it.

You say after you ate the first time I wasn’t allergic to it but eating “this” amount I now realize I am allergic to it.

Why? Because you have more data

Floyd was murdered, which is a subset of death. That ought to take care of that.

Or Sturgis. All those people died.

The gym in the morning today was the first I didn’t. There was only about a dozen there. When I went grocery shopping I did. It’s all based on how comfortable I am

My understanding with Sturgis is that it was doomed by people gathering indoors afterward.

I got distracted and couldn't write more.

But in the beginning, the message seemed to be that we didn't think that masks did much in the way of protection and the fear that was by endorsing them you would encourage people to do more risky behaviors than they would otherwise.

That's a lot different than "masks are terrible."

I know it’s tough for you to grasp but I was referring to fauccis emails and the change of guidelines

My county is about 31% fully vaccinated. We also have a lot of out of staters working at the cracker plant here. I don’t trust large crowds just yet. Maybe I will eventually but it is kind of my decision
