I wish there were Donald Fagen Christmas songs. I feel like they'd fit him like a glove, but I know he's way too cynical to ever do it. I mean you'd barely have to nudge something like "Maxine" at all for it to fall right into Yuletide warmth.

Although, I don’t really see him making (or recording/releasing, I should say) any kind of new music any more.

pixies were great in melbourne... i'm not the biggest fan but the sound was just perfect for the sun going down and gummies kicking in.
