I don't think Filoni would do that. I see it more as a connection to the past for Jedi to seek wisdom, etc. Almost like an elevated force ghost kind of thing.

yeah, the more I think about it, the more I think the Vader music has to mean he's Vader right now. He could be:

1. The original Anakin/Vader who was redeemed after ROTJ, but then went back to the Dark Side (for a reason we will learn) and will serve as a future nemesis in more TV shows and/or movies as "Vader" but not suit Vader.

2. A nonsuit Vader from an alternate timeline to wreak havoc.

I dunno. This seems hard to pull off, but I think Hayden is still super popular with the fanbase and they want to include "Vader" somehow, some way.

I think we’re going to get effectively a clip episode like the ones we grew up with when cartoon makers went on holidays and they just do a composition clip episode.

In my head, based on what we've been given so far, to me, he clearly isn't a Force Ghost. He's not glowing blue. If he's really there and if it's really the WBW, then it's something different. Perhaps they only appear as blue glowing ghosts in the "real world." And in WBW the are corporeal? I have no idea. But I'm excited to find out!

Dime, what is the leading theory out there about Anakin? The one most fans are gravitating to and/or predicting.

The world between worlds is not an alternate timeline. It is a gateway. I doubt that is his force ghost because he doesn't need the WBW to project his ghost to her, he could have done that anywhere. The only other person that we know of until now to have had access to it was Palpatine. Maybe he taught Anakin/Vader about it, but I don't think that is known at this point. My guess is it has something to do with Palpatine.
