I don't think anyone assumes they think these are better, just that maybe they've seen the almost unanimous love for them and think 'Oops, this isn't going to do Lightning Bolt any favours.' It's totally plausible that a club as crazy as the 10C might do that.

Since it is, maybe fanclub members are getting that EP Mike talked about with 6-8 b-sides along with LB? That's why these songs some how showed up now after all these years on the shelf? One can hope with songs like these 2.
Lol, it only cost me $5 shipping to Australia for the vinyl.

Maybe this is part of the "bonus digital content" for the 10c version?

Good call on the 'bonus' content - you could be onto something...?
I think it was only about $5 for the vinyl to be shipped to NZ as well.

Lets hope so. It would be sad for songs this good (and potentially others like it) to join the ranks of that movie we shant speak of, or some sessions that Eddie Vedder did back in the day that we also don't speak of.

Cost me $5 shipping to Australia for the vinyl AND the CD.

Seems to be a glitch/error they're not aware of/willing to fix. Or they're being shipping from NZ. I actually think I remember receiving something for 10Club from NZ in recent years...

Nah - they wouldn't ship from out of here - production costs would be too high.

they just don't want it to leak because they don't want anything to leak. Its their default state.

I left this at page 6 last night...........just got through the extended new songs orgasm complete with irrational stip/tulome modern day pearl jam championing and 'man this is going to shit on LB' talk.

I still really love both the songs.

I like the theory that a disgruntled Stone leaked the songs.

"I Need Something Different."

I think this style is better than at least LB and FD. Cold Confession is going to make my "best of" list for sure. I don't think LB will suck. It will just take more time for me to get into post RA mode again.

Well, every now and then Ed shits a gold brick and hides it from everyone. Then he pops it out and says surprise! By the way, I'm late to this party and haven't heard what all the fuss is about.

Could be. Not to say Ed hasn't crapped on any good songs with sub par lyrics. There is the occasional turd

Dang...just listened to both for the first time.

These are both solid, either of which could have made the '06 album, and probably should have.
