Jesus Christ. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a game with so many flags thrown.

RIP
The Music City Miracle. I was there
Great game to be at. I remember watching it live on TV.

From ESPN:
“The team announced before the 2017 preseason that Wycheck would step down from being their color commentator due to lingering head issues sustained in his football career.”

And also:

“Per his request, the family plans to work with experts for ongoing brain injury (TBI) and CTE research.”

“Per his request” wow. Sounds like he was struggling and knew the worst was a possibility. Very sad.

before the season started, if someone had told me the Broncos had a chance to win the AFC West this year, i'd have laughed in their face.

I feel bad for Stroud. That head hitting the ground looked bad.

I actually felt like I had a headache after watching the replay. Yikes.

Is any team other than the Niners (when healthy) really that good this year? I feel like I've seen some bad stretches of play from every top tier team so far.

I don't think you're wrong. It does feel pretty wide open across the league.

The 9ers also had a rough stretch. No one's immune this season.

sure, but that rough stretch was without Purdy.

I'm not disagreeing that the 9ers look like the team to beat. Just pointing out that they also struggled. And most every other contender that's struggling has done so without one or two of their best players on the field.

Purdy’s started every game this season; he just sucked for a few weeks.

Deebo missed some time.

McCaffrey missed the second half of the Browns game and played hurt the next game, both games where Samuel was out.

Those three games are a little more than the 49ers playing through a “rough stretch.”

Man some of those passes Purdy made yesterday sure were beautiful. Right in stride for the receiver
