Yeah it is. Cool how Ed used to play a song at shows before the opening band. Have many other artists also done that or did Ed come up with it on his own?

I've always thought that Riot Act had a double album feel - probably only needed to add Fatal and Other Side and they'd have a perfect double album.

Binaural is really the one for that. They had so much great material for that. The self-titled probably in hindsight could have been a double album as well.

I found this old commercial from what seems like MTV australia or Europe (bad at telling accents), and I was freeze-framing to look at details and I found this FASCINATING image... it looks like the back of the album as it is with side A and B written over the polaroids. Side A seems to be over a different image than on the final cover, but side B's tracks are over the same picture of the man's legs. Here is the tracklist:

Obviously, some notable fan favorites are missing in 'Off He Goes' and 'Present Tense'. Plus 'Around the Bend'. Makes me wonder if in this hypothetical tracklist there would've been a 3rd side of the record?

I had a gigantic subway-sized poster of the No Code album art, which I got from an independent record store shortly after No Code came out, that had that track listing on it. At the time, both "Black Red Yellow" and "All Night" were total mysteries. Eventually I found the import single with "BRY" on it, but "All Night" was a phantom for years. I would post on early fan sites asking if anyone knew what the song was, and no one had any idea. It was unreasonably fulfilling and a tiny bit vindicating when it was released on Lost Dogs. I probably have an exaggerated fondness for the song as a result of this; it still feels a bit like a "secret" PJ song that I knew about before anyone else, because of that poster that I carted around with me move after move for the better part of a decade.

Not quite similar story…

I had the VHS boot of the 4/11/94 show since either that summer or summer of 95. Watched it a million times. It had a little improv piece in it that everyone assumed was called Hold On since he said Hold On 317 times in it. Then when I saw the tracklist for Lost Dogs and saw Hold On I thought, “oh they turned it into a full song.” Boy, I missed that call!
