I actually think Brady Anderson might be close too.

Hornsby and O'Neill should be close in BA/OBP

A quick scroll tells me Brady Anderson also has six.

I just added defensive stats to my spreadsheet (they have the standard PO, A and E, but they also have + and - for good and bad defensive plays, so we could make a basic defensive number), so now we have at least basic hitting, baserunning and defensive info. It would be pretty easy to make a WAR type number from there as long we use all the player stats we have available from each team to establish some "average" numbers.

This is going way beyond your standard stats/baseball nerds. I'm a little concerned.

Pretty much, yeah... but there are more than 6, aren't there? Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Cincinnati, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cleveland... aren't there more?

Awesome! So it would be far from perfect, but we would never expect it to be, anyway. It would just be fun to see the leader. WAR leader gets the MVP!
