I love ¨Familiar Faces¨. Puts me in the right mood.bune wrote:The production suffered a little from the singles to the actual album but yeah, it's good. Well, barring "When I Became A Man".

Yeah, and I'm not sure I really want to begin. As you said, they were a far cry from PJ, Mudhoney, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Fugazi, and all the classic rock I was (still am) into. Maybe I'll check them on Spotify or something.tragabigzanda wrote:Similar, I graduated high school in '99 and the people who liked Incubus in my school also like Bob Marley, Phish, Soundtribe Sector 9, that sort of stuff -- which felt a long way off from my Pearl Jams and Mudhoneys. I never gave them a fair shake and wouldn't even know where to begin.darth_vedder wrote:I used to have an irrational hatred for Incubus. That was like 15 years ago, I don't think I feel that strongly about them anymore. Maybe I should listen to some of their stuff. What I've heard I didn't like, but the last time I listened to them was around 2009-ish, so my opinion about them could have changed.

Haha, funny. I think I'm coming to the same conclusion you did. I've been listening to 'Make Yourself', and three songs into it, I hate it.theplatypus wrote:Exactly one year ago todaydarth_vedder wrote:I used to have an irrational hatred for Incubus. I would say Morning View, and then 8.tragabigzanda wrote:Similar, I graduated high school in '99 and the people who liked Incubus in my school also like Bob Marley, Phish, Soundtribe Sector 9, that sort of stuff -- which felt a long way off from my Pearl Jams and Mudhoneys. I'm still not convinced you weren't just testing the limits of this thread.LoathedVermin72 wrote:I can’t believe you guys are still talking about this
