I know one of the Journey guys thanked all his ex-wives, but that's not really Ed's style.

I agree that it is fucked Dave A wasn't inducted.

He was there when it really mattered and in my mind, when I picture my Pearl Jam, Dave A's sitting behind the kit for sure.

88465UP has a good point. Matt is a touring machine and is responsible for Binaural and You Are, but Dave A. is clearly the iconic Pearl Jam drummer.

I never really got into that whole thing. Pearl Jam's music was far more important to me than their personal lives. I didn't even know Stone was married and had kids. Or maybe they mention that in PJ20? Maybe I did know, but it's never been a big focus for me. I still don't really know what happened with Ed and Beth. But I'm glad to know that they are still friends. That's pretty cool.

But, no, he didn't mention her last night. All his focus was on Jill and his daughters. Jill was a weepy mess, too. Almost as bad as I was. It was really beautiful.

I've been with them, like most of you, since the beginning. And this simply isn't true for me. Matt and Jack are far more important and iconic to me.

It was as uplifting and cathartic as any Pearl Jam show I've ever been too. And there was plenty of nostalgia but it was really the ceremony, the honor of it all that was overwhelming.
