Most reviewers seem to have missed or completely ignored its central themes. I think it's an interesting exploration on the millennials vs. gen X generational divide, and a pretty charming tribute to female friendship. The girls are both really good and I like the movie's rinky-dink aesthetic. I think it falls flat a bunch of times, but if you took away all the terrible Canada jokes (or replaced them with... better ones), it would be a pretty enjoyable movie.

I don't think the girls are bad at all. Lily Rose especially has a lot of charisma.
