It's not a test if there's nothing real to tempt you.
Yeah but apart from that. Look, whatever, I'm going home.

The fake leak can't be considered a real leak until RM complains about the fake songs and starts to fondly remember Avocado and Backspacer for the masterpieces they are.

I'm pretty sure you'll be out of the club the first day this thing leaks.

What's even better is that he is harmonising with Beth while rolling Jill in blood.
The song just gained a 4,5/5 score on RM

As soon as it does, I'm going to have to stop reading whatever threads are discussing it. I've read enough reviews.

i let my wife listen to this, and she thought there was another Writer's Block hidden track after Future Days. i didn't have the heart to tell her she was wrong, and it was actually a recording of BoB masturbating in a bathtub full of water.

I'll be reading opinions for as long as I can hold off listening to it, but the Internet will be off when I do.

When I read that LB album preview article in Pitchfork, I was really worried at the mention of Kazoos in SBM. But it actually really works.

I'm not one of those people, but man, it is a fucking masterpiece for a first record. No two ways about it.
Weirdly, or maybe not, it transported me back to that time, effortlessly.
No other Pj record has been able to do that. But I do listen to the others a whole lot more regularly and frequently, than Ten.
What a collection of songs though.
You're meant to start sorta crap and get amazing.
Pj seem to have done exactly the opposite. Somehow.
Ten is classic, its def got that 90's nostalgic feel to it of course but i still think the album was ahead of its time in a way....

Ten is a testament to how strong and developed the Gossard-Ament partnership was even before Ed and Mike's arrival. I think it was Rolling Stone that referred to Pearl Jam as being a band who "arrived" as fully realized as any band ever (or something vaguely along those terms), and I have to think that all comes down to having a core that had essentially already been together for what, seven years at that point? They knew how to play the every loving daylights out of each other's material, and that's something that isn't an easy skill to master.
