You know, it was actually really great. She arrived a little later than everyone else. So, there was already a lot going on, drinks had been consumed, I was elbow deep in helping my wife finish the turkey and the setting up. Other than one brief conversation right after diner while I was doing dishes, I barely spoke to her. When we did speak it was pleasant enough.
I had a blast reconnecting with everyone else. There was much laughter and great conversation. The food, as always, was outstanding. She left early. At the tale end of the night, my friend Nick, who had never really hung out with her before, said she was pretty insufferable and he wanted to tell her to stop talking multiple times.
But all was pleasant. No drama. And I got super emotional, as usual. I just love Thanksgiving. My friends are my family, so it was just lovely.
How was your Thanksgiving?
The way i pictured this going was that she would be the one rallying everyone for photos the whole night and posting like 20 of them to social media with a #hashtag that she made up, somehow incorporating your wife’s name, ending in “-giving”

This is shockingly accurate. Well done.

Did she actually do that?
Classic “person who nobody wants there so makes herself feel better about it by making it look AMAZE on social media, like she is the life of the party”
