K thru 12 I should add.
I know some districts in WI are mandating K thru 6, then only recommending 7-12 (since those ages are vaccine eligible).

I am pretty solidly in camp C1. Only quibbles that I would have is that I am much more forcefully onboard with vaccine mandates, and you can pretty much fuck my own feelings when it comes to my criticism of NPIs.

people say the young whippersnappers couldnt handle living way back when as life was too hard and all that is currently being asked is to wear a mask on your face to prevent a pandemic and you cant even do that. yet you complain that this new generation are a bunch of babies. then they fall back on the hipaa and say you cant ask me anything about my vaccination status and thats not what hipaa is about. then they throw out the my body my choice which is fine until you ask them about their stance on abortion.
if kids can play highschool basketball wearing a mask you can muster up the effort to have worn one to help prevent this but you were too big a toddler crying all the time

Masks work, but the problem is that in the most high risk situations, they're either not practical (indoor restaurants, bars, theaters, and other events where eating & drinking is required to be sustainable) or enforceable (private indoor gatherings). So instead the beatings for vaccinated people are continuing until morale improves among the unvaccinated in venues with low to moderate risk. At least we've finally (I think) learned enough about the bigtime importance of ventilation to stop harassing people with NPIs outdoors.
