Yeah that's an absurd analogy.

I agree that dime knows nothing, so it's not a perfect analogy. But the way you discuss the series with unbridled joy reminds me of his Star Wars posts.

I'm definitely a believer in the grand northern conspiracy, and Manderly provides plenty of evidence for it.

I just read that short story compilation about Duncan and Egg. It's a very charming book, on the off chance none of you have read it.
I loved that historical atlas as well (which I read a year ago, maybe). I wish it had more actual first age/far east history in it, though.

The Dunk and Egg tales were great. Especially the last one.
By historical atlas you mean A World of Ice and Fire, right? After reading Dunk and Egg I went back to that and read the targ chapters from the time period of those tales.

Do it. They're real quick reads and you get to see Bloodraven in action.

Are they collected in one place anywhere? Or do I have to track them down individually?

I have them on my tablet but haven't read more than the first few pages of the Hedge Knight.

Re: A Song Of Ice and Fire (Spoilers for all Published Books
I got this for Christmas, but I wasn't able to read it until this weekend. Really, really good. It's a totally different feel than A Song of Ice and Fire, but they're great little stories. And I have a new appreciation for Lord Bloodraven. He was the Tywin Lannister of his day.cutuphalfdead wrote:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00S3R6HAE/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?ie=UTF8&btkr=1
