I assume this ditty will be on Spotify at midnight, right? Or do I have to get out my transistor radio and hide in the bathroom to try to not wake the kids?

this is the best part. the song might fucking suck.
This really is the best part. I assume most of us don’t do this much anymore and are willing to be sluggish tomorrow.

Alright, I'm ready. Back home from work, drinks poured and my copy of Binaural on the turntable in case my worries are warranted and I need to cleanse my ears. Let's do this

I've certainly done dumber things in the name of this band than stay up til Midnight on a Tuesday.

Is this their last shot? Assuming it sucks, if they fire BOB and can't do it on their own, do we give up? Convince ourselves it's great? Wait for the album to finally judge, hoping for a shitty single among a nice collection of songs?

How many people will be cancelling their pre-orders of the album in half an hour or so?

it's certainly a big moment for them, considering their last 10-15 years of new output has been sub par.

that being said, the band was nearly dead and buried - around here at least - and look at us.

At least the two snippets have been better than Sirens, so we at least have that going for us.

waiting up for this is definitely more reasonable than say, watching a shitty live periscope feed of the ENTIRE rock and roll hall of fame ceremony.

General thinking is once 12 EST hits, it's on all streaming too because of the countdown on the website
