Do I look into her eyes and occasionally recall with love the first joint we smoked together, barely older than children? NeverLetMeSleep wrote:Hang it up, love.

Get it back
Get Right
Take the long way
Johhny Guitar

That's also what I hear.Farmer John wrote:I don't think Stone necessarily said it was a Matt song.
It was sort of unclear the way he said it, but I thought he meant "(We) wrote this amazing song called Dark Matter. It started out with a Matt Cameron drum beat"
I can't speak for joostone, but there are many things I can't stand about that song. The lyrics, the melody, and the singing, for starters. There are few Pearl Jam songs that I flat out don't like. This being one.Anders wrote:What has Johnny Guitar done to you, to be treated so poorly?
I’m mostly with you on this one. It wants to be a fun, lighthearted song…the clearest demonstration that Backspacer is the “fun” record…but it’s just kinda gross and lame. Very aggressive “I’M FUN NOW” energy.RockPusher wrote:I can't speak for joostone, but there are many things I can't stand about that song. The lyrics, the melody, and the singing, for starters.
