I for one am worried what the Koch Brothers will do with all that unspent money in their pockets...

It’s not just the brothers. The network is a massive subset of big money donors who are now being forcibly removed from influence by cash-starved Republicans for the crimes of opposing tariffs and deficits.

It is pretty fucking weird that the party feels unconcerned about losing that much money.

My post was more to the point that I don't think this matters overall. The KBs are stating that they're not putting money behind specific people/races. I'm sure they'll still put money against other people/races, though.

At least the Kochs aren’t blindly going along suckling at the teet of trump like the rest of the party. Unlike the freedom caucus they appear to still oppose deficits, tariffs and bailouts even when they’re Republican-made.

**this isn’t a full-throated defense of the Kochs because I honesty don’t know that much about them except that they have been major GOP funders for awhile now, just an observation that at least at the present moment they appear to be more ideological than a lot of that party.
