That's all fine and good, but what makes Oscar Isaac so fantastic is that he's equally brilliant in both roles. Honestly, his performance in Ex Machina is probably a better performance but that script also gives him a lot more room to play.
He's a virtuoso. I'm so fucking thrilled that he's constantly working right now. Keep 'em coming, I say.

Is Poe even onscreen for more than 10 or 11 minutes? I don't remember much of him.

About that. But look what he achieved in that short time?
Boba Fett is on for a fraction of that and he's idolised.

Oh, sure. And the Boba thing was always silly but more about mystery than anything else.
Yoda probably has about 40 minutes total screen time spread out between two movies before he dies, and it's affecting. I guess with Poe I just didn't pick him up much. Like, I dig the actor, but I couldn't really describe the character.

Not a collector but this would be cool. Force awakens on vhs. Maybe this would appeal to LV and his Luddite tendencies.

It'll be Poe and Finn as the buddies next film(s). They did a great job of establishing their chemistry and making them likeable.
