Oh yeah. People will get mad. People get mad when they realize that seniority doesn't help in the lottery process.E.H. Ruddock wrote:Oh it's not a bad thing. My JFC was because I can picture people getting mad at it

It never has (as far as I remember) but I've certainly seen that misunderstanding repeated a lot over the years.CopperTom wrote:Oh yeah. People will get mad. Re: 2020 Tour (Rumors) (aka Gig A Ton) (aka Gigatour)
place of residence vs. location of venue would be a nice weight to add at some point
hate to see locals get shut out of their own show
although managing that in the major metropolitans prob a challenge

Correct, it never has helped you secure tickets.Birds in Hell wrote:It never has (as far as I remember) but I've certainly seen that misunderstanding repeated a lot over the years.CopperTom wrote:Oh yeah. And the problem that a vast majority of members don't live near a major market. They will never alienate their fanbase like that.96583UP wrote:place of residence vs. location of venue would be a nice weight to add at some point

The locals already benefit in the fact that they don't need to pay for hotels or airfare and can sleep in their own bed and possibly not even need to take a single day off of work. That's a huge benefit right there.CopperTom wrote:And the problem that a vast majority of members don't live near a major market. I wonder if the "sorry " emails are sent last.
We do at least get "sorry" emails right?

Re: 2020 Tour (Rumors) (aka Gig A Ton) (aka Gigatour)
maybe they wait to send the sorry emails until a couple days from now bc they will release tickets on hold bc the person’s credit card info failed and they never updated it within the window
