It's probably just anakin. No tricks. It looked weird because they clearly did some de-aging to Hayden to make it look like how he did last time they saw eachother. It looked bad. But there was some definite cgi going on

My theory, that no one asked for, is that she really isn’t in the world between worlds, physically anyway. You don’t get there by falling off of a cliff. They made it clear in Rebels how difficult it was to get there. And didn’t Anakin say something like “surprised to see you here so soon”? My guess is she’s in a purgatory, dying, and her master appears to talk her back to life. Think Harry Potter and the deathly hallows. He’ll say some force shit like “they still need you, it isn’t your time, wake up…” and she’ll wake up as Hera is lifting her out of the water with a claw on the ship.

It was my first thought as well. But the fact that Filoni already killed her and brought her back to life made me rethink it. Would he do that twice?
