We're due for a new one soon, and I think these front loaders are a pain in the ass. I'm hoping to convince my wife of the same and get a larger-bin top loader.
As a tech bro, I normally never recommend "smart" appliances BUT having a washing machine and/or dryer that sends a notification to your phone when it's done is a game-changer.

I think I prefer front loaders to top loaders without an agitator. They key is to leave the door open a crack when you don't use it so it can dry out.
I say this after testing out all three kinds when we used cloth diapers.
You can get top loaders with no agitator now, and they’re great. You can do such big loads.
I miss the large washers and dryers of America. I have to do smaller loads now and it’s a PITA.
And I’ll second what bi said about the smart notifications. Was clutch when our washer was in the basement two floors away.

For both kids (until they were about 1-1.5)!
I use cloth diapers. They’re called boxer briefs.

While I agree Rangi’s a stud, there are heaps of dudes like him Down Under. Might explain his modesty.

How long do you let them sit in the washer getting all musty or the dryer getting cold and crumpled?
