My favorite angle was the super slow-mo from behind the catcher, about shoulder level. You could see them look each other in the eye and then the ball enters the frame and takes 5-10 second to hit the ground. It was hilarious.

I have to say, however, that the attitude I'm feeling around here is just a little too positive and cocky; that was fun to watch if you're a fan of the home team, but let's not hand them the series yet.

In fairness the cardinals aren't too proficient at fielding fly balls the umpires just weren't able to bail them out last night.

Does Metheney get thrown out tonight if the Sox get one close call or if the umps end up reversing something?

I would consider starting Lester in game 4 and game 7 rather than worry about Buchholz and his vagina.

I get the frustration, and that definitely makes sense. I just find it frustrating when we know so little about the nature of an injury and then people start calling the player out. It's the same thing when a pitcher misses a start because of a blister and people scream about how he needs to toughen up and pitch through it, as if that's even possible. If fans want pitchers to pitch with a blister (or a bad shoulder, elbow, whatever) they might as well be pitching with one leg.

But yeah, when it consistently happens with one player, I understand the frustration.

I might feel differently if any test had shown anything, but basically, no one really knows what the hell he was really out for, aside from "shoulder soreness"...and he said at the time that if it were do or die, he'd be out there...well now it is do or die, and something tells me he won't be pitching game 4 or any other game in this series...I just don't get it with him

James Andrews has about as spotless a record as you can have, and he said Buchholz was fine
