Tom King is weird. His Batman run can go from great to horrible...sometimes issue to issue....characters are normal then waaaayyyy out of character depending on what he needs them to do. He character assassinated Booster Gold. Really the only thing going on with Batman/Bane so far is everyone thinks Bane is broken but Batman knows he's up to SOMETHING!!!!! Oh and Flashpoint Batman is back but we detoured from that reveal to revisit a character from a one shot King did almost a year ago for no real reason. He's all over the place.

i like his work with Batman, but yeah...its hard sometimes. Master Bruce return was so weird i thought i skipped a number or something. And to bring back Batman Thomas from Flashpoint is also weird as fuck.

I’ve tried some Batman books but I like the way he’s written more in the justice league and the jlu animated. The arrogance of him always thinking he is right (and he normally is) makes for great interactions with the others.

I also think this plays a bit more into his origin. He can’t put much trust into people for fear of abandonment (his parents “leaving” him alone)

i miss the days of Batman operating alone after Jason´s death.
