I still love about the only quote they get out of the hoodie after the game was... "we missed some things on offense" You didnt punt the ball, the entire game! I'm pretty sure, the offense was not the problem. Sure Brady dropped a pass, and you might have missed a play or two, but come on man. In a game like that, you need your D to make a play, like a strip sack fumble recovery

Good game, can’t ask anything more out of Brady. Defense just did not get the job done, that’s all there is to it. I’m not going to bitch about the referees, the Pats had the ball with 2 minutes left with a chance to take the lead. That’s GOAT time usually. I don’t think the Butler thing is the reason they lost the game, the defense as a whole didn’t play well and they didn’t make the proper adjustments in the 2nd half.

I have to imagine Butler was hurt and after Jonathan Jones got hurt two weeks earlier the depth was gone.

I think this may be a good thing for the Pats. They need Edelman healthy at the end of the year and in the playoffs. It gives him another month for his knee too.
