I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I never saw Kim dying....she will leave maybe. Jimmy does not appear or talk about something as traumatizing as his love dying. He doesnt seem to have any kind of grudge with Gus...it would be weird for Kim to die.

I hope you're right. I'm seeing it the opposite, tho. She just gets deeper and deeper into Jimmy's Saul persona, that the only way I can see her getting out (if she even does) is by dying.

One would have to assume that if Kim dies in the show that it would be Saul's fault in some way. And Jimmy could never forgive Saul for killing Kim. So Saul would have to die, too. Jimmy would break and be someone else entirely, not the Saul we saw in BB.
I think their relationship is going to continue along the same path that it always has: Decent Jimmy loves upright Kim, so he doesn't allow Reckless Saul to go too far. Upright Kim loves Risky Jimmy so she compromises her values and does things she otherwise wouldn't and knows that she shouldn't. Jimmy isn't too bright so he takes that as permission to act more like Saul. But Kim breaks a little bit each time she compromises. This can't continue forever. The relationship will break and Kim will leave. Saul will be all that's left

ALTHOUGH---I would not put it past Vince Gilligan to make bad storytelling choices that betray his own characters and ruin the ending

Vince Gilligan is barely involved in the show's writing anymore. He's the co-creator and still directs an episode every season but that's about it

But he's not in the writers' room and he's not a showrunner so he wouldn't be responsible for "ruining the ending" as Argo says

JJ Abrams ruined the ending of LOST and he wasn't even remotely involved not long after the pilot

Exactly VG! My point about LOST was just that JJ Abrams had a bad idea in 2004. Over the next six years, Cuse and Lindelof completely take over the show and do all kinds of things JJ Abrams had never anticipated. But then 2010 rolls around and for some reason Cuse and Lindelof honor the terrible idea Abrams had had a long time ago which didn't even fit with the show anymore.
The same thing could happen here

Vince might not be writing stuff but he controls everything. There is no way this thing is not what he wanted to be.

He does not

Listen to the Better Call Saul Insider Podcast, he talks about how he handed the show off to Peter Gould on season 3

I mean all we have is literally what the creators tell us
