Racism is definitely a factor in the Cam hate. The reasons people give for not liking him are weak sauce.Mecca wrote:cuz hes whiteKaius wrote:Yeah, Rodgers with his championship belt isn't cocky at all.spike wrote:Yeah he just comes off as really cocky. You are a traitor both to your team and your race. As a white Saints fan, I would never admit to liking Cam Newton. He is nothing like the saintly and perfect Drew Breezus.E.H. Re: 2015 NFL Season
I'm just glad that NFL players have thicker skins about celebrations, instead of resorting to stuff like assault with fastballs.
Cam Newton is an interesting case, since I fondly remember the time he faced the Broncos. Already famous for the Superman move, he got dominated that day and Broncos defenders just did that move right back at him after making big plays. Fighting celebrations with more celebrations--awesome.
It also worked in reverse for Aaron Rodgers--get players on two division rivals to tear their ACLs doing your celebration.

Yeah, I always approve of throwing signature moves back at players after big plays. Always makes me laugh.Green Habit wrote:I'm just glad that NFL players have thicker skins about celebrations, instead of resorting to stuff like assault with fastballs.

Coldplay is just fine. Chances are you were just going to the bathroom and refilling the nachos during halftime anyway
