I'm a big fan of this band but I have two pals who are way more into them and both said this film could have been amazing but it's trying to do three things at once and succeeds at none(much like the last record) and they said the live footage is great but avoid it it's not worth it.

If your friends don't like Reflektor then they're doing it wrong.

that's actually the perfect song for emma stone. i hated it.
You don't need to sign up to listen. Even though it says you can only stream 30 seconds of the song it's lying, you can hear it all.
Sounds like an Eels song played on top of a Christopher Nolan score

Not too impressed on first couple of listens...
Kinda disappointing actually.
I had hope their new record would be better than reflector, but it's not off to a great start.

I'm thinking this is an anti-Trump thing and not necessarily going to be on the album.

I watched the 'Live at Earls Court' disc of the Reflektor Tapes Bluray set last night and really enjoyed it. Very well shot with the perfect balance between close-ups and wideshots, and the band sound fantastic. It's also well mixed - 'Tunnels' sounded better than I've ever heard it (god I love that song) and the whole set is nicely paced with good coverage from all albums. Only complaint is crowd noise is down lower than I prefer. But overall a great way to spend a couple of hours - 4 stars

I've always had a warmer spot for Reflektor than I feel like most people do; I'm a sucker for the Orpheus/Eurydice myth (hi, Nick Cave!).
