Yeah, I’m fully aware. That’s why I’m so happy that the Vikings real strength is the D. They can and have won with less than thrilling performances by Case, but that’s a lot harder to do in the playoffs. If Case can be competent and make 4-5 important throws throughout the game, the Vikings are hard to beat. Can he do that? We’ll see.
The way he handles himself in the pocket and the mature decisions he's made on the run give me confidence in his playoff abilities.

Predictions: 4 INTs and guzzling man seed on the sidelines to calm his fit of panic

The product has been dreadful.
This. It doesn't help both New York teams and the Bears were awful. Two huge markets and shitty teams.
add the Packers and Cowboys to that list, "Americas Team's"

Of course the NFL and the Networks will put blame on the anthem protests and everything other than the dreadful product on the field.

So what would be the least TV friendly playoffs?

I'm thinking:

Wild Card
TEN def. LAC
BUF def. CLE
CAR def. WAS
TB def. DET

Divisional
TEN def. CIN
JAX def. BUF
CAR def. TB
ARI def. NO

Conference Championship
JAX def. TEN
ARI def. CAR

Super Bowl
JAX def. ARI

I think there are people who hate-watch Cam Newton, so TB would have to beat CAR, I think.

Yeah I went back and forth over that one. If Jameis Winston had more NFL success I think people would hate-watch him easily.

Jaguars/Cardinals is the ultimate snoozer Super Bowl nonetheless.

If Cleveland vs Detroit ever happens in the Super Bowl, I think youd have 50% of the people cheering on one team to finally do it (both Cleveland and Detroit) and the other 50% cheering on one of the teams to totally blow it just to crush the fan base of said team. So really, youd have like 25% cheering the Browns on to win, 25% cheering the Lions on, and 25% hoping the Lions blow it and 25% hoping the Browns blow it.

We could have a similar scenario this year if the Bills somehow win the AFC and face the Vikings in the Super Bowl. 0-4 versus 0-4: someone's guaranteed to break that streak, someone's guaranteed to extend it. That might be too much stress for our dear posting compadres like Mecca and PHATJ.

The hardest game to pick this weekend is Falcons/Rams. I don't think anyone would be surprised to see Atlanta win a 27-23 type game but I don't think anyone would be surprised to see the Rams win a 31-13 type game either.

If this was anywhere except LA, you'd have to be careful about the dome team on the road in January. It's the beat-case-scenario road game for them, save playing in another dome.

That's exactly how I feel about it. Falcons win on 9 FG's. 27-23 or lose in meager fashion on a 3 turnover day 31-13.

I have the Rams and Vikings as the two to beat in the NFC, I simply can't trust what will show up for Atlanta because the in game coaching is so confusing and they've dropped 31 passes.

I'm not quite ready to shovel dirt on Philadelphia just yet but I don't believe in the Panthers at all.

I hear the dome team stuff all the time, but this isn't a dome team really in the classic sense or at least they don't play like it, and neither do the Saints for that matter. They're probably better on the road than they have been at home. There are a lot of things with them that simply don't make sense this year.

Regarding the Rams, I see PFT is bemoaning that tickets are still available. It never dawns on these people that it may simply not be worth it to people to pay what they are charging to go see a game there. Want "atmosphere"? Lower the damn price.

I hope the Vikes get to play the Bills so bad.

If a team knows the exact man they want for the job the Rooney Rule is pointless.

So he's going to go to the Raiders with all of the Bucs plays so he can beat them in the Super Bowl, right.
