honest question. are you really this thick that you dont understand?
if you are 100% vaccinated you can still catch the virus. however you have like a 90%+ chance of only having very mild to mild symptoms. this does not mean you cant pass it on to someone you have come in contact with. that person may not be vaccinated and that person could also have very mild to mild symptoms or it can be a lot more severe
it would be easier to know who you could be around by each person having a V or a NV stamped on their head to show their vaccination status and know who is more vulnerable

Well, I tested positive on Monday.
(Fully vaccinated since early April)
It was basically a mild cold for me: sore throat and some nose stuff and is pretty much over at this point.

people think this is a cute comparison because thats what the nazis did to the jewsBi_3 wrote:Bammer wrote:How about we use a gold star on the sleeve instead of a "NV" on their face?
except the nazis did this so they could more easily identify who was to be killed
but the left compared trump to hitler. they did this in the sense he wanted to become a dicatator and control all aspects of government. bow to me or i will not send you aid. anyone that reports anything not positive on me is fake news. etc...

That simultaneously sucks and is good news. Focusing on the good, I'm glad to hear it was over quick.

Yeah it was really no big deal. The worst part was telling people I've been around in the last week and them needing to go get tested. Thankfully it was only 4 people and they're also vaccinated, so hopefully they'll all be okay too.Bi_3 wrote:4/5 wrote:Well, I tested positive on Monday.(Fully vaccinated since early April)

Why did you bother getting tested? Are you going to get tested whenever you get a cold? Not sure I see what the point of the testing industrial complex is.4/5 wrote:Well, I tested positive on Monday.(Fully vaccinated since early April)

Re: Anybody want a Corona?
About 3 weeks ago my wife and I had a really bad "cold" that lasted about a week. We are fully vaccinated so it didn't register it could have been COVID. But it was runny nose and chest congestion which weren't symptoms (traditionally) of COVID. I'm now reading that the Delta variant has these symptoms, so now I'm thinking we may have had it as well.4/5 wrote:Yeah it was really no big deal. I wouldn't have if it were earlier in the summer but I was supposed to go back to work today. Honestly I thought I'd test negative and that would be that.verb_to_trust wrote:Why did you bother getting tested? Are you going to get tested whenever you get a cold? Yeah I figured it was probably a work thing. How many hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of vaccinated people thought exactly like this? I certainly would. Taking waning immunity into account, which will only accelerate, the 'breakthrough infections' rate is potentially in the double digits.

Re: Anybody want a Corona?
But just like 4/5, it was nothing but a cold. What would it have been had we not been vaccinated? Breakthrough cases are one thing, but how many breakthrough cases are leading to hospitalization and death?Bi_3 wrote:E.H.
