Love's elbow should be someones finishing move shouldn't it? It sounds like something Draymond would do.

Love's elbow should be someones finishing move shouldn't it? It sounds like something Draymond would do.

Love's Kiss would be a good name for it.

In the second round they pretty much play every other day. It's the Finals and first round that have the huge breaks between games.

Kudos to DeRozan for taking it and moving on. Most players would have writhed on the ground for 10 minutes in horrible "pain".

He got clocked. So yeah, kudos for not dying on the court like a soccer player on the pitch. But if he had reacted a bit more, I’m sure they would’ve reviewed and they would’ve gotten the call.

So which is it:

The Raptors should feel okay about last night because Cavs besides LeBron actually showed up and that probably won't happen many more times.

Or

The Cavs should feel good about last night because they won despite LeBron not being very good.

Niether. Lebron isn't going to have the juice to get through this series but still might win anyway because of Trashtors.

He could definitely use some NBA Finals-style extended days of rest, that's for sure.

They'll get blown out Game 2 and he'll play 31-35 mins, the last few of which will probably be played very passively anyway and he'll be ready to go for Game 3.

I'm still skeptical that the Raptors actually manage to blow this series. They were outrageously bad over the last 10-12 minutes of that game and it still took everything the Cavs had to scratch out a victory.

Raptors almost always lose Game 1.

Telling, considering Van Fleet injured his shoulder earlier in the game.

The Raptors are supposedly deep and that is a strength but being deep in the playoffs isn't as important as having guys who can make the tough clutch shots. DeRozan is good but his 'improved' three point shooting isn't enough. I don't believe in Lowry either.
